Rated 5 de 5 de par a pretty solid eyeshadow This is my first time buying eyeshadow from Urban Decay, so it's a bit of an understatement to say that I was pretty pumped to receive this in the mail. Fortunately, I wasn't disappointed. The packaging was great, the color is even more gorgeous in person, and I didn't have a hard time applying/blending it. The only thing I noticed is that it was not as pigmented as I expected it to be--it's a bit more on the lighter side. However, with primer, I found that it was pretty easy to add a few more layers of color on to be as dark as I wanted it to be. (Fun fact: If you're a fan of My Chemical Romance, Gash is the exact same eyeshadow that Gerard Way wore numerous times on stage/in photo shoots during 2004/2005)

Rated 5 de 5 de par Love UD Eyeshadow [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Urban Decay has the best eyeshadow. I like seeing the Vintage selection. Gash is one of my all time favorites. I've been buying this brand from the beginning, back when I was in Jr. High asking my friends "Have you heard of Urban Decay?" Seriously, game changer. The colors range from natural to bold and vibrant, there's something for everyone. Plus they are so pigmented and have good staying power. Honestly, I rarely even wear primer and have no problems with my eyeshadow lasting all day.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Gash is back! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am SO HAPPY to see vintage UD products brought back. I ordered Gash first, partially because I love a good red shadow, and partially because it reminds me of high school. The color is amazing, and the new shadow formula makes this throwback shade a dream to work with. I really want to get Rust (yellow orange with gold shift) to pair with Gash for autumn eyes, and UV-B was amaaazing, I can't wait to try that on in the new formulation as well. These hold up with the rest of UD eye shadows, and they pop perfectly into my palette too! If you're new to Urban Decay, it's worth checking out some of these classic shadows while they're available. Roadstripe is a winner- I use it over a matte black shadow for dark-faerie-princess realness.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Plague barely has a shift. :( [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UD's eyeshadows are what got me hooked on their brand, so in general, I love them. However, I'm specifically reviewing Plague. While it's a pretty color, it's not the red purple/blue duotone I was expecting and hoping for. The shift is very subtle, and I like duotones specifically because dramatic shifts allow me to do a simple lid wash that looks like I blended two colors together perfectly. This does not do that. The texture is also super thin and dry (if that makes sense). It's not the buttery texture that I'm used to. However, I didn't return it; I'm planning on trying it again wet to try to coax more of a shift out of it.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Wayyyyyyy too shimmery/glittery and color descriptions are way off.... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wayyyy too shimmery and glittery.....the descriptions for the colors are way off than reality. The description of the colors that say they are not shimmery or glittery are not accurate at all because they are extremely shimmery. Also, the shimmer:glitter doesn't stay on your eyelids, it drops down and gets all over your face. Your shimmery/glittery face walks in the room before you do. It's not a good look at all.....they are all going back! There are too many of the same colors and there needs to be more matte colors instead of focusing on shimmer and glitter 99% of the time.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Vapor - A girl's secret weapon for sexy eyes! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vapor is by far my favorite shade...why? It's simple, it's my secret weapon. I can a smudge of it lightly on the inside corners of each eye and a tiny bit across my upper eyelid, just under my brow for a look that gets people's attention, and adds a little sexiness to my eyes. Not to mention, it helps me look more "awake". Pigment is great, and it lasts all day, even after working 7 hours. Size is nice too. I'm 45, but still wear makeup and this shadow is my best friend!

Rated 5 de 5 de par The Ultimate Emo Shadow! This is the exact shade Gerard Way used during the “Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge” era. If you wanna nail that look, this is it! It’s perfection!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Beautiful and vibrant colors [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the shades in Pallor, Rust and Frostbite and I loved all 3 of them. Pallor is a soft, shimmery blue/gray purple that is very unique. It's a pale color and can definitely be used for a subtle daytime look. Rust is a brighter shimmery yellow/orange that I think is the color of sunshine. It works well as a brightener in the corners of the eyes, but it also is nice as a summery daytime shade. Neither Pallor or Rust had any fallout, and both were buttery, smooth and blended very easily. Frostbite is a beautiful sparkly dark blue with a hint of purple and multi-color sparkle and is much prettier than it looks on the computer screen. i used it wet as eyeliner and it was absolutely stunning. It blends very easily and was still smooth to apply despite the chunkier glitter. It does have some fallout because of the glitter, so take precautions when using this shade. All 3 are stunning and easy to use and I highly recommend them.
